The Willey's Store in Greensboro has been operated by five generations of the Willey family. In 1900 Burton Madison Willey and his wife Hattie, purchased the grocery store from the Elnathan Babbittt estate. Robert A. Willey and his wife Gertrude, bought the store in 1952 and purchased the Cowley building in 1966. Phyllis Willey Hurst and her husband Ernest M., purchased both the dry goods store and the Cuthertson's hardware store and connected all three stores with an addition over the brook that exits Caspian Lake. We sell groceries & meat, clothing & footwear, hardware, sporting goods, paint, plumbing and housewares - all under one roof. We also have an ATM, Fax, deli and self-service gasoline.
